Arab League Foreign Ministers Meeting in Cairo

The Head of the Presidential Council of the UN-backed GNA, Fayez Al-Serraj, to attend his first Arab League meeting Sunday in the presence of the countries’ representatives ans the Chairman of the Arab League, Nabil Elaraby.

Al-Serraj to talk about the current state of affairs in Libya and the security situation in the country as well as the efforts put by the Presidential Council to resolve the intricate political crisis.

On Saturday, Al-Serraj met with the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in Cairo, where the latter stressed his country’s support for the stability in Libya and called for lifting the arms ban on the Libyan Army.
