Audit Bureau, Prices Balance Fund agree on cutting down goods prices

The Head of the Libyan Audit Bureau, Khalid Shakshak, and the Head of the Prices Balance Fund and other relevant officials agreed Sunday on starting the fund in order to cut prices of basic goods for the Libyan citizens.

On Facebook, the Audit Bureau said the attendees all decided on the methods through which the goods will be distributed, saying that the national identification number system will be used in the operation.

“Also, electronic cards will be used in the buying transactions, besides, we have distributed the work to all the relevant authorities including communicating with the Presidential Council, Central Bank of Libya and the Ministry of Finance.” The Audit Bureau added.

“We have set 60 days for the project to be operating effectively.” It concluded.
