Derna Shura Council kill three Dignity Operation infiltrating militiamen
The Derna Shura Council announced that it had killed three members of a Dignity Operation (Karama) infiltrating cell, among whom there was the officer in information security and the former officer in the Interior Security Department, Nuri Sinan, when they tried to penetrate into the city center of Derna.
The media office of the Derna Shura Council said the three were killed by a security force while they were escaping from the city amid a heavy fire exchange, adding that the force arrested an ISIS affiliate shot in the fire exchange.
“The Dignity Operation Cell was seen for the second time meeting with this ISIS affiliate who is already under close observation by the security forces in Derna.” It added.
Derna Shura Council has been in full control of the city since it expelled ISIS out of the city last April.
