Egyptian warplanes strike Derna a second time

The Egyptian warplanes carried out three airstrikes on Derna locations Sunday night – Monday dawn.

According to sources from Derna city, the airstrikes targeted locations in Daher Al-Hamar, the infrastructure complex in the western entrance, and other locations near the infrastructure complex.

Social media pages circulated photos showing the aftermath of the airstrikes, which were believed to have targeted Derna Shura Council’s locations.

Egyptian warplanes raided Friday Derna city on what it said locations for Derna Shura Council, and they are believed to have raided Hun town on Sunday as well.
