Head of the Presidential Council inaugurates new Libyan embassy in Washington

The head of the Presidential Council (PC), Faiz Al-Sarraj, inaugurated the new headquarters of the Libyan Embassy in Washington DC, on Sunday.

The national anthem was played during the opening ceremony as the Libyan flag was raised on the pole of the new embassy building, according to the PC Media Office Facebook page.

Attending the ceremony was the minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Mohammed Sayala, the Libyan ambassador to Washington Wafa Bugahgies and other high ranking Libyan officials.
