HoR Speaker calls for lifting embargo on arms exportation

54

The Speaker of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives, Aqilah Saleh, has called on the leaders of the African countries help lift the embargo on arms exportation, as what he called the “Libyan Army Forces” are making great advances in the war against terrorism.

Saleh, chairing the Libyan delegation to the African conference Thursday in the capital of Ivory Coast, Abidjan, urged the African leaders to press the UNSMIL to be neutral, especially as regards to the Head of the UNSMIL, Martin Kobler, whom Aqilah described as “shelving his role as disinterested mediator.”
