Italian Coast Guard rescues 1200 illegal immigrants off Sicily

The Italian Coast Guard personnel have rescued about 1200 illegal migrants off Sicily Island coming from Libya.

Italian News Agency Aki reported that the 1200 migrants were saved from the sea in 9 separate operations by the Roma branch Coast Guard.

In addition, the Libyan Coast Guard announced Tuesday that it took 9 bodies of illegal immigrants out seashore in Zuwara city.
