Libya Central Bank’s Governor reviews economic entanglements with German, UK ambassadors

The governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), Al-Sadiq Al-Kaber met on Sunday, with the United Kingdom ambassador to Libya, Peter Millett.

Millett reiterated his country’s support for CBL’s efforts in the face of the economic crisis in Libya , calling for the necessary response to the financial and economic crisis in Libya.

According to a statement issued by the CBL, the two parties agreed that political stability and ending the role of parallel institutions “is the key to the success of any economic or financial reform program for Libya.

The CBL governor also met with the German ambassador to Libya Christian Buck, on Sunday, to review the economic and financial situation in Libya.
