The Libyan local Quran Memorization Contest kicked off Sunday in Zuwara in its 25th edition by the Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Association.

The contest will take place in Farhat Halab Hall with 33 participants from all Libyan cities.

Libya is well known for holding annual Quran Memorization contests in all over the country to boost this holy commitment and encourage youths to take it up, knowing that Libyans who recite and memorize the Quran are always in the top three list on the Islamic world.
