Libyan Air Force targets Haftar’s forces in Tripoli Airport and Gharyan positions

Sources from the Government of National Accord (GNA) confirmed that the Libyan Air Force carried out about 8 airstrikes on positions for Khalifa Haftar’s forces in Tripoli Airport Road, Qasir Benghashir and near Gharyan as well as in Sooq Al-Khamis. 

Meanwhil, Haftar’s airstrikes hit Al-Zawiya city to the west of Tripoli, causing a massive material damage.

The sources added Monday that the airstrikes came in line with heavy fighting on the ground in southern Tripoli, especially on Gasir Benghashir frontline.

They reported over 6 military vehicles for Haftar’s forces destroyed by the forces under GNA’s command.

Reports of casualties have not been yet confirmed, but there could be scores of injuries in such a fierce fighting.
