Libyan flights to officially land in Tunisia’s Carthage airport next Thursday
Sources from the Libyan Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the Libyan flights to Tunisia will start landing in the capital’s Carthage airport starting next Thursday.
The sources added that the decision came after receiving official confirmation from the Tunisian Civil Aviation Authority of accepting Libya’s request to land in lounge 1 instead of lounge 2, which lacks proper passengers’ services.
Earlier last month, the Tunisian Civil Aviation Authority told Libyan flights to touch down in Carthage airport but not in the main runway and passengers lounge, however, in the abandoned lounge (2), which Libyan aviation authorities refused saying it is an improper decision.
