Libyan Ground Handling Company organises strike across Libya except Mitiga Airport

The Libyan Ground Handling Company has gone into a strike in all of the country’s airports except the Tripoli Mitiga Airport in demand for its workers’ delayed salaries.

The company’s workers have not received their salaries and financial dues since over 12 months.

On Friday the company announced it had started an open strike and suspended its services in all of Libya’s airports except the Tripoli-based Mitiga Airport.

This comes after many partial strikes done by the company in different eastern, southern and western Libyan airport in demand of the dues of its workers.
