First Lady Melania Trump ignored her husband’s criticism of her predecessor Michelle Obama’s refusal to wear a headscarf in Saudi Arabia by doing exactly the same thing yesterday, Metro reported.

Donald Trump slammed Michelle Obama two years ago for ‘insulting’ Saudi Arabia for not wearing a headscarf but both his wife Melania and daughter Ivanka declined to cover their heads yesterday, added Metro.

The visit to the desert kingdom is the President’s first official foreign visit and he gave a thumbs up as he arrived, which is seen as obscene in some countries, according to Metro.

In 2015 Donald Trump tweeted that the First Lady Michelle Obama had insulted Saudi Arabians for refusing to wear a headscarf bemoaning that America had enough enemies, Metro indicated.

However, when Melania and daughter Ivanka emerged from Air Force One at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Saturday morning, her attire was conservative but she had not covered her head, as tradition demands in the Muslim country, said Metro.
