Misurata municipality bans Egyptian foods and goods from entering city

157771

The Municipality of Misurata has sent a letter to all the land and sea borders of the city requesting them to apply a temporary ban on all goods and foods coming from Egypt.

The Municipality also urged all the authorities to confiscate any vegetables, fruits and foods that enter the city and prevent markets and groceries from selling them to people until the analyses come out from the Misurata Food and Medicine Control Center.

It is worth mentioning that the US Food and Drugs Organisation revealed that some Egyptian vegetables and fruits contain banned materials that cannot be used by human beings as they were irrigated with water containing human waste and materials used to help store human corpses.
