Mitiga airport authorities ban entries of five countries’ nationals to Tripoli

Mitiga Airport in Tripoli

The authorities of the Tripoli-based Mitiga airport have issued a statement on Sunday banning five countries’ nationals from obtaining entry visas to western Libya.

The statement says that the nationals of Sudan, Egypt, Morocco, Syria and Bangladesh won’t be allowed to obtain entry stamps at the Tripoli-based airport even if they already have clearances to enter Libya.

This move was preceded by a similar one by the eastern government of Abdullah Al-Thinni, who issued a statement banning the nationals of seven countries from entering the eastern region, including Bangladesh and Syria.
