The troops are mainly from Al-Hasawna tribe that is very respected in Ubari and the south, they are supposed to take control of the city’s military camps and start securing the city by setting up checkpoints and taking security measures across the city, so that they can stop the conflict between Tuareg and Tubu tribes.

This move comes as part of the attempts to implement Doha agreement that was signed by Tubu and Tuareg in September 2014.
