President of State Supreme Council urges CBL Governor not to deal with GNC

The President of the State Supreme Council (SSC), Abdelrahman Al-Sweihli, sent a letter Tuesday to the Central Bank of Libya’s Governor, Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer, telling him not to deal with any body related to the General National Congress.

Al-Sweihli urged the CBL to stop all financial transactions with the GNC, which has expired according to the constitution, he added.

He called on the CBL to start dealing with the SSCin all the financial dues of the state sectors as it is the only legitimate body according to the political agreement.
