Tobruk parliament member from Misrata, Muhammad Al-Reaid was abducted on his way to the airport in Tobruk by an armed group demanding release of their relative jailed in Misrata in exchange.

The kidnappers left Al-Reaid upon intervention of Tobruk elders without doing any harm to him.

MP Al-Reaid had sworn in back to the parliament after boycotting it for 18 months.
