The Tripoli branch of the Libyan Coast Guard intercepted Tuesday a rickety boat filled with 112 illegal migrants off the Libyan coast, rescuing them to safety on Tripoli beaches.

The Coast Guard said the 112 migrants were making their way to Italy in yet another death journey across the Mediterranean.

The Coast Guard explained that the illegal migrants were all from different African countries and were sent to the Illegal Immigration Interception Authority in Tripoli.
