In a press conference following the summit meeting of the world powers and neighbouring countries of Libya, the Head of the UN-backed Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Serraj, said that Libya is going through a very terrible situation.

“The Libyan situation does not endure any more political maneuvers by any party and the international community won’t be secure against the extension of terrorism outside Libya.” Al-Serraj indicated.

He explained, in a presser Monday, with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, and the Foreign Minister of Italy, Paolo Gentiloni, that the Presidential Council has requested support and military weapons for the Presidential Guard formed by the PC lately, and we have demanded ban on arms be lifted to be able to fight ISIS.
