300 Sirte displaced families return home
300 families from Sirte, who were displaced in different cities in Libya during the war on IS militants, returned to District 700 of the city, said a member of the organising committee appointed by Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous operation.
The member added that the 300 families returned to their houses after filling in some samples of surveys and other security and social checks to make sure there would be no danger among them.
“We’ll continue to monitor the comeback of the displaced families to Sirte carefully and warmly.” The member added.
Sirte was liberated from IS militants last December after around 7 months of fighting between the Misurata-led forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous and IS terrorists, who have been eradicated from the city.
