Muslims around the globe celebrate Eid El-Fitr on Wednesday

The Muslim world will celebrate Eid El-Fitr, the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and beginning of the Islamic month of Shawal, on Wednesday July 6th, when people quit fasting and go back to their ordinary life style.

Eid El-Fitr is one of the two holy celebrations that all Muslims wait every year in order to visit their relatives, exchange greetings with their fellow muslims, exchange gifts with their brothers, sisters and other kins.

The celebration of Eid lasts for three days in which all Muslims tend to celebrate starting by an early morning Eid prayer at the mosque, then followed by a family morning breakfast for the first time after a month of fasting till sunset. Then people start visiting their relatives, neighbours and freinds to celebrate the day together.

Eid El-Fitr is the first holy celebration for Muslims and it is followed later by another Eid called Adha, which comes 70 days after the El-Fitr Eid.
