WHO sends medicine shipment to Al-Byada in eastern Libya
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has sent a shipment of medicines to the eastern city of Al-Bayda to treat over 50 thousand people amid the current lack of medicines and deteriorated health services in the country.
The spokesman of WHO in Libya, Ahmed Al-Ageili, said Monday that the shipment arrived in Labreg Airport, Al-Bayda, and it is enough for 50 thousand persons.
“The WHO office in Libya is preparing to distribute the medicines on the clinics and hospitals in the eastern region in cooperation with Al-Thinni government’s health ministry.” Ageili added.
