Gunmen vandalize 220 power station in Tripoli

An armed group stormed into 220 kilovolts power station on Friday in Sooq Al-Jumua in Tripoli causing huge damage to the station and its equipment.
General Electricity Company said a group of gunmen stormed onto the station in Road 16 in Sooq Al-Jumua and destroyed the surveillance cameras and the equipment in the station.
It added that the workers at the station left on Wednesday after they had received threats from an unknown groups who said they were angry at the recurrent power outages.
