Derna holds scientific forum to celebrate World Space Week
The Municipality of Derna held Tuesday a science-oriented forum to celebrate the World Space Week.
Many Derna residents and science stakeholders as well as students and people who are interested in the space had attended the event in the National Theater of the city.
The organisers for the forum delivered a presentation reviewing the latest discoveries of the space agencies such as those made by NASA, with the attendees asking questions to the experts and activists of the domain who were there.
This year’s World Space Week celebration is the third consecutive one as Derna has been doing this forum since 2013.
