Random rockets were fired Sunday evening on a Tawergha refugee camp in Al-Fallah, Tripoli, killing a woman and injuring six people.
The Mayor of Tawergha, Abdelrahman Al-Shikshak, said the refugee camp is now in a state of quietitude after the shelling and clashes between armed groups in the vicinity of the camp in Tripoli’s Al-Fallah district.
“We don’t know who were the clashing groups, and we have sent the injured to a Tripoli hospital.” Tawergha mayor said.
He added that he appealed to the officials in Tripoli to keep the Tawergha people out of the current armed clashes.
