The UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, disclosed Tuesday that the meeting about the Libyan political standstill at the Arab League in Cairo, Egypt, was fruitful and promises a clear end of the political stalemate in Libya.
Kobler also said that the Arab League meeting’s results could put the transitional phase of the Libyan state back on track.
“Stronger coordinated support btwn (between) #LAS, #AU & #UN is crucial to end #Libya political deadlock & bring back momentum to transitional process.”
Kobler also added that he held a joint presser with the Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Abul Gheit and the African Union’s envoy to Libya, Jakaya Kikwete, discussing the solution for the Libyan political crisis.
