Kobler urges for evacuation of civilians from besieged Ganfudah, Benghazi

The UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler, has welcomed Operation Dignity’s announcement that it would allow a safe passage for the people besieged in Ganfudah, Benghazi.
The Head of the UNSMIL tweeted Saturday, “I call on all parties to the conflict in #Ganfouda to abide by International Human Rights and Humanitarian Law.”
“Parties must ensure safe evacuation from #Ganfouda of all #civilians who wish to leave and must (protect) them against any form of abuse” He also tweeted Saturday.
