Italian Ambassador to Libya visits east to meet HoR Speaker

The Italian Ambassador, Giuseppe Perrone, arrived Monday in Tobruk as part of his first visit to the eastern region of Libya, nearly a month after the Italian embassy reopened in Tripoli.
This visit by an Italian official to the east of Libya is the first of its kind since the fall of Gaddafi.
According to sources, Perrone will meet with eastern officials and the Speaker of the House of Representatives in Tobruk, Agilah Saleh, as well.
None of the eastern media commented on the visit yet and no official details were given by the HoR either.
The Italian Ambassador began operating the embassy from Tripoli on last January 12.
