Presidential Council sacks spokesman over threats he made on air

The Presidential Council of the UN-brokered Government of National Accord (GNA) has sacked its spokesman, Ashraf Al-Thelti, over his threats to a political activist on France24 TV channel on Monday.
Al-Thelti threatened a political activist who supports eastern government of Al-Thinni and the House of Representatives in Tobruk live on France24 Arabic.
“You say we are not legitimate. How about the Presidential Council issuing now a warrant to arrest by the French authorities? Wouldn’t the PC be legitimate in your eyes then?” He said on air threatening Abdelhakim Fanoush on France24 Arabic.
The deciosn was issued after the member of the PC, Fathi Al-Mejibri, criticised Al-Thelti and descried him as unprofessional.
