WHO provides Sabha medical center with medical aids

The World Health Organization (WHO) country office in Libya delivered on 8th August 2017 to Sabha Medical Center ten (10) International Emergency Health kits (IEHK) which are standardized kit of essential medicines, supplies and equipment.
This kits were procured with financial assistance from European Union Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid (ECHO). One kit is designed to meet the basic health needs of 10,000 people for approximately 3 months.
In addition, ten (10) Trauma kits were also provided to the Center which can treat more than 1000 moderate and serious injuries.
WHO would like to thank ECHO for its continued commitment to support the humanitarian health needs in Libya.
