Libyan Education Ministry scraps homework

The Libyan Education Ministry has issued an order to the primary schools across the country demanding scrapping homework for students.
The order is the first of its kind in the Libyan history and has caused both outrage and sarcasm among education staffers and families of students.
The order says all teachers should do only classwork and no more homework, adding that all schools must start applying the new instructions right away.
