Tobruk Parliament might announce a military council
Unconfirmed sources from Tobruk Parliament have reported that President Aqilah Saleh is keen to announce the formation of a military council in Libya on Saturday.
This step by the Tobruk Parliament could point the country into more chaos and division in Libya and could also lead to a new war as it would be considered a coup on the newly installed UN-backed accord government that arrived Wednesday in Tripoli.
Worth mentioning that the GNA presidential council awaits he Tobruk Parliament’s endorsement of its cabinet formation, which has not been done till today as the parliament failed to reach quorum.
