Obama orders sanctions on Al-Ghweil and other spoilers to GNA

The White House has issued an order that was announced by the President, Barack Obama, to expand the state of emergency adopted toward Libya .

Obama also announced Tuesday new American sanctions on Libyan spoilers to the Government of National Accord, who are hindering the peaceful transition of power in the country, such as the Prime Minister of the Tripoli Salvation Government, Khalifa Al-Ghweil.

These sanctions come after similar ones slapped on Sl-Ghweil and others, like Abusahmain the GNC Speaker, and Aqilah Saleh, the HoR Speaker, by the European Union last March.
