EU delegate to Libya says a newly EU-formed mission will be in control of Libyan borders

The EU delegate to Libya, Natalia Apostolova, said Tuesday that the EU has formed a new mission tasked to help Libya administrate and control its borders.
Apostolova explained that the EU has got another mission in Libya, (Sophia) which is tasked to intercept a and foil the monstrous acts done by human smugglers, who endanger the migrants’ lives by sending them in wrecked boats across the ocean.
Natalia added that she is waiting for the go-ahead by the Presidential Council and the GNA to start doing the necessary procedures to launch the mission on the borders and fight ISIS.
