General Company of Electricity: More hours of power outage due to boiling weather

The General Company of Electricity has announced that due to the high temperature and the heat today the company had to put on the schedule more hours for blackouts as the weather affected the generation units and caused some other units to be out of function due to technical deficiencies.

It also added that it expects that the western Al-Sareer generation unit could come into function Wednesday night or Thusday morning with the general generating network adding 200 megawatts as well as the dual Misurata unit with 250 megawatts and southern Tripoli unit.
