Benghazi Defense Brigades advance in western Benghazi, seizes Dignity Operation’s field hospital
Benghazi Defense Brigades have advanced more into the west of Benghazi city taking control of a Dignity Operation’s (Karama’s) field hospital on the way on, media sources reported.
The sources added that the control and advance came after fierce clashes between the Brigades’ forces and Dignity Operation forces, led by Khalifa Haftar, in western Benghazi, leading to the capture of Al-Magroon and Al-Rigta towns by the Brigades.
“The Benghazi Defense Brigades also seized a number of vehicles and weapons from the retreating forces of Dignity Operation” The sources indicated.
On Sunday evening, Benghazi Defense Brigades said three of their forces were killed and four others were injured in clashes with Dignity Operation forces in eastern Ajdabia.
In addition, the Benghazi Defense Brigades refuted the rumors of Dignity Operation that said their forces arrested the leader of the Benghazi Defense Brigades, General Brigadier Mustafa Al-Shurkcy, saying he is operating as the commander just as before.
It is worth mentioning that Benghazi Defense Brigades advanced Sunday in Ajdabia’s east capturing two key towns, Sultan district and Al-Jalediya checkpoint that lie very near to the western entrance of Benghazi
