Criminal Investigation Police Department busts a gang of car thieves
The Criminal Investigation Police Department (CIPD) in Tajoura, Tripoli, has arrested a gang of thieves, one of whom is a policeman and another is an employee, who confessed to stealing cars by force and weapons.
The Western Investigations Authority (WIA) posted on Facebook that the gangsters confessed that they had stolen a number of cars, confirming that 6 stolen cars have been returned, one of which is for the Tripoli Control Room and another for the Rehabilitation Center.
“The four thieves were sent to Tajoura Prosecution Office with charges of theft by force and armed burglary, and then they were sent to the Rehabilitation Center in Tajoura.” The WIA added.
