Donald Trump to stop issuing US visas for Libyan citizens among other countries
An eight-page document that appears to be a draft executive order suggests President Donald Trump will suspend the Syrian refugee programme and stop issuing visas for countries deemed to pose a threat to the security of the US, reported the BBC on Thursday.
According to some reports, Trump is going to stop issuing US visas for citizens from Libya, Yemen, Somalia and other countries, he said might pose a threat to the US national security.
The US President has not yet announced or signed the step but is expected to do so shortly.
rump is known for his opposition to the migration policies in his country and in Europe at large and he lately has criticised the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, for her welcoming migration policy.
