Fayez Al-Serraj meets with Head of Gas and Fuel Crisis Commission
The Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Serraj, met Sunday with the Head of the Gas and Fuel Crisis Commission, Milad Al-Hejrasi, in Tripoli to discuss the current operations against smuggling in the country.
Al-Hejresi reviewed the successful operations done in coordination with air and naval forces in Libya as they intercepted many oil vessels loaded with smuggled fuel or commodities from Libya, besides fuel smuggling vans on the land roads.
Al-Serraj hailed the commission’s work and said this will continue until this damaging phenomenon is terminated.
He also declared that the PC will announce in the coming days an expanded operation that will target all kinds of smuggling on all the Libyan borders, promising to provide all kinds of support for the operation so that the smuggling of commodities can come to an end and the prices can go back to normal.
