France says it is ready to help Libya secure its coasts
The French Defense Minister, Jean Eve Lorderiane, said his country is ready to help Libya’s GNA to secure the country’s coasts and national wasters.
Speaking to Europe 1 radio station, the French Defense Minister said France is waiting for the request from the GNA’s Head of Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Serraj, outlining the security measures Libya us in need for to protect its waters.
Days ago, the French Foreign Minister visited Tripoli and met with the PC discussing the EU and French support and assistance for the UN-backed GNA.
