Hatif Libya Telecom says damage shut down eastern phone and internet networks

Hatif Libya Telecom has attributed the shutdown of phone and internet networks in the eastern areas above Benghazi to a fiber cable damage.
In a statement on the official website of the telecom company, the administration said they are trying to fix the fiber cable and asked the residents in the area to be patient.
It added that even Libyan and Al-Madar Al-Jadeed mobile phone connections will be off till the cable is repaired.
