Kobler: UNSMIL is working from Tripoli starting today
The UN delegate to Libya, Martin Kobler has announced that the UNSMIL has come back to Tripoli and will continue its duties from the capital.
In a press conference with the Deputy Head of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Mitig, following a closed meeting with the PC members, Kobler said everyone has great morals for establishing the Libyan state tha is peaceful, secure and safe foe every citizens and visitor.
“I will go to Tobruk tomorrow to encourage the HoR members to vote for the endorsement of the GNA and we are all so positive that peace and stability will return to this country.” Kobler indicated.
He explained that Libyans are in support of peace they want their daily lives to be safe and secured, they want economic prosperity and “we should all support the GNA to do so.” he added.
Kobler concluded by saying that he talked to the European countries and they promised him that they will reopen embassies in Tripoli and they want to see the capital of Libya thrive again.
