Libyan forces thwart a break out attempt by IS, kills 7 militants
7 terrorists were killed as IS groups attempted to vent out of the besieged seaside Jizah neighbourhood, the Misurata-led forces of Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous, an operation to liberate Sirte from IS terror appointed by the Government of National Accord (GNA).
Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous media office said the Misurata-led forces foiled the desperate attempts of IS militants to break out of the siege on Jizah neighbourhood and managed to keep a tight grip on the whole front lines with the militants still trapped inside.
The Libyan forces have been besieging the remnants of IS terror groups in Sirte within a small area in their last hideout, Jizah neighbourhood, and have given them a warning to whether surrender themselves or die.
