Libya’s GNA Prime Minister arrives in Turkey

The Prime Minister of the Government of National Accord (GNA) Fayez Al-Serraj, arrived Wednesday in Ankara, Turkey to meet with the Turkish counterpart and other officials.
According to the Presidential Council’s media office, the visit was based on an invitation by the Turkish government.
Al-Serraj and the Turkish PM are going to discuss the joint interests and cooperation on economic and political levels to help Libya break the current political impasse.
Turkey reopened its Embassy in Libya’s capital last month in a step aimed at restoring relations and providing support for the fragile GNA in Tripoli.
