Presidential Council welcomes State Supreme Council meeting

The Presidential Council of the UN-backed Government of National Accord has welcomed the meeting of the State Supreme Council in Tripoli Tuesday.
In a statement Wednesday, the Presidential Council considered the meeting the first step in the right track to continue with building up the institutions that were proposed by the Skhirat agreement.
The PC said it hopes that Tobruk Parliament resumes its sessions to complete the duties required of it and to work together with the State Supreme Council to implement the UN-backed agreement and get Libya out of the current crisis.
