Sabratha Military Council busts top IS leader in the city
A military source at the Sabratha Military Council reported Saturday that the council’s security personnel arrested top IS leaders in Sabratha in the past couple of days as part of what the council said is a “special mission”.
“The Sabratha Military Council personnel apprehended Wissam Al-Dabashi, who is nicknamed as Al-Batsha in the “special mission”.” The sources disclosed.
It added that the military council received a tip-off that says Al-Dabashi was in his house in the city, and after a force team was formed by the revolutionaries’ brigades of the council, the house was raided and he was arrested after getting shot trying to escape.
The source also said that IS militant, Al-Dabashi was sent to a hospital in the city and it is unclear yet where he will be sent later and what authority will be responsible for his fate.
