US special envoy to Libya, Jonathan Winer: 28 countries sanctioned Abusahmain
The US special envoy to Libya, Jonathan Winer, has confirmed that 28 countries slapped sanctions on the Speaker of the General National Congress, Nuri Abusahmain, for he violated the UN Security Council’s resolution.
Winer said in a tweet Wednesday that Abusahmain has violated the UNSC’s resolution number (2259), and that any upcoming money transfers to be delivered by anyone to the GNC will put them at risk.
