Water supply shortage in some districts due to electric failure

The manager of media office in the General Authority of Water Resources, Sulaiman Abboud, said inconsistency in electricity led to stoppage of pumping water out of Al-Hasawna wells and fields, which caused stoppage of water supply.
He said Sunday that the water supply was cut for the areas that are linked to the system of Al-Jfara and Al-Hasawna related to the Industrial River, pointing out that maintenance teams are working on gradual reopening of the wells.
“Probably tomorrow, water will be flown to the wells in very normal ways.” Abboud indicated.
