WFP: Foods distributed to IDPs in southern Libya
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) has announced it sent foods assistance to the displaced families in the south of Libya on Monday in coordination with Sheikh Tahir Al-Zawy Charity.
The Charity said foods baskets were distributed to 160 families and other 400 families will be provided with foods baskets in the coming days.
It also said that shipments of medicines arrived and were distributed in southern health centers and hospitals.
The WFP targets the displaced families in many southern districts and cities such as, Ghat, Al-Gatroon, Ubari, Murziq, Traghen, Sabha and others.
